On the 2nd of February 2021, CO2GeoNet hosted a Winter Webinar showcasing some of the recent progress in Europe in deploying CO2 Capture and Storage (CCS) to meet climate targets.
The keynote presentation was given by Maria Velkova from DG CLIMA on the European Green Deal and CCS strategy in Europe. This was followed by perspectives from CCS project operators and developers implementing CCS at large scale and researchers refining aspects of CCS to make the next generation of projects even more efficient.
